When we took the piece out in the light, I could see that the front leg  had broken off and been repaired and also the whole top had been replace with a poor, not of the same style desk top. I find the staff to be helpful and easy to find. It's as if they didn't care if you were gonna spend a $1,000 or not -- they wanted to go home!
