Thomas74. These are Walleye specialized jig heads that have no lead barb on the base of the jig and the hook shank is short with a wide gap. You actually start about an eighth of an inch back from the head and push it in and come out in the back about what I would consider a hook gap right here.

I don't see it as a problem but any advice is deeply appreciated. They guaranty that they have used the best ever materials that can make a fishing rod perform at its superior most, as the material makes it one of the good walleye jigging rods enough capable to accomplish these two major characteristics. With that fire line and this rod and reel set up, if I give this a pretty good pull, I can actually feel that tail just zooming down there and it’s like awesome. Then carefully release the jig and pitch it underhand. The walleye is better known for its flesh than for its fighting abilities.
