Seriously, Fantasy Island? that people have posted and tea guides have confirmed. This one’s a more recent retiree.
Time to stock up!
Voting daily, let me know when stop.I just linked to Steepster so people could find the tea descriptions quickly.I wish they would list a little about each tea. Oh well.Well, at least lots of people get their unique Pink Flamingo back!I liked Pink Flamingo (I think I even still have some!)
Not only was this tea delicious and fruity thanks to the mango but thanks to the kombucha powder, you felt nice and detoxified after a glass. I’m sure by now, you’ve seen me rant countless times about how DAVIDsTEA neglects their Oolong section, so you could imagine how excited I was last summer when an amazing flavourful Oolong was launched!
level 2.
Tea Talk: Retired DAVIDsTEAs I wish would come back! I went to original link above with the tombs. Some of us need to get a life.
I'm sad that Guava Cadabra and Strawberry Matcha are on the Canada list. I didn’t get to try movie night on it’s original release but last year when Mary Poppins 2 was released it made a short comeback to promote the movie and ever since then it occasionally pops up as an online exclusive for a steal of a price! Not only was this an amazingly delicate oolong but it also featured apricot, peach and almond. To this day, this is one of the few teas that I’ve tried that tastes creamy without needing added milk.
Now that I’m educated on all of the ways tea can be enjoyed I’m dying to try it as a latte or an iced latte because I can only imagine how amazing it would be.
That one is the only one I’d want to try.
: )Well I’m glad Swampwater is back and I’ve always wanted to try Fantasy Island. Hey Steepers!
There are official lists of the retiring teas in the Facebook group "DavidsTea Fans!"
I loved sipping on this bad boy over ice. For this week’s Tea Talk I thought I’d share a list of throwback favourites. I’ve heard some people say it tastes buttery to them, some say it’s like caramel corn- but to me it’s a delicious toasty and slightly sweet/appley blend of coziness.
I have never tasted a tea that so closely resembles its inspiration, but this tea was literally the liquid guilt free version of coffee cake.
:DHere is a list of Steepster reviews for the teas you can vote on:I was just going to post this for those Pink Flamingo fans out there!I tried it, very clever and similar to Ben & Jerry’s Ice cream graveyard. David’s Tea went public in June 2015 at US$19 per share and is currently trading below $7 per share. Thank you very much for this. The only one there that excites me is Swampwater, but I actually still have a bit from last year.
This was actually one of the first non-traditional teas that I tried and one of the first teas that I tried from DAVIDsTEA so I’m not entirely sure how long it was around for but when I purchased the only 50g that I would ever get my hands on, it was during its retirement sale.
I currently have a huge stash of this bad boy and I’m hoping it lasts until its next come back!
